Silver is extremely pure and protects from bacteria and illness. The process of creating the strawberry and fig form to be used as the spoon is ancient and traditional. A plaster mold was created and a ripe red strawberry and green fig were placed in the mold. Once the plaster hardened the fruit was removed and liquid molten wax was placed in the mold. The wax was cast and once the metal was returned it was hand cleaned, filed, soldered, quenched, pickled, tumbled, machine filed, and polished to a high shine. This is one of a kind.
