In Japanese “Nakazora” means the space in between the sky and the Earth. This is a one of a kind, handmade, sculpture that is my idea of Nakazora. It was built with foraged twigs to make the frame, pink, white, and gold thread and silver bells for the woven sides, filled with dried ranunculus, and strung with six different kinds of handmade lace.
